Dr Hassan Alfadala

Dr Hassan Alfadala is currently the Dean of the College of Engineering and the Director of the Gas Processing Center at Qatar University. His main research interests involve systems integration, process design, modeling, simulation, optimization and curriculum reform. Dr Alfadala has been instrumental in reforming the Chemical Engineering Department as well the College of Engineering at Qatar University. The newly launched Gas Processing Center is a landmark of Qatar University and the State of Qatar which will contribute to help Qatar to be the gas capital of the world as its leadership envisions. He also serves as a consultant to the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry. He received his BSc in Natural Gas Engineering and has a MSc and PhD in chemical engineering.
