Visa Application (compulsory)
In line with Qatar’s immigration policy, anyone visiting the country on a business trip is required to obtain an official Visit Visa.

In order to process your visa application, a scanned copy of your passport is required (please include pages with picture, personal details and validity).
The passport copy should be emailed to Mr Eric Tan with the information listed below:
- Name of visitor in full (as given in passport)
- Nationality
- Previous nationality (if applicable)
- Place and date of birth
- Occupation
- Passport number
- Place and date of issue of passport
- Expiry date of passport
- Arrival and departure dates
All the information above must be submitted to secure a Visit Visa.
Processing Time: Visa applications take 2 - 3 weeks to process. To ensure that a visa is obtained, and the necessary flights can be booked, participants are requested to submit relevant information as soon as possible
Providing the event organizers with all the relevant information on time will help ensure your visit to Qatar goes smoothly.
Please note:
- The official Visit Visa is valid for a period of 30 days.
- You will be required to provide a copy of your Visit Visa on arrival at Doha International Airport.
- Qatar’s immigration authorities have the rights to grant or decline a visa application. QFIRST 2007 event organizers endeavor to ensure that Visas are granted to all those who provide the correct documentation, within the time restrictions, however the event organizers are not liable for Visa requests that are declined.
